About Madison Faile
Madison Faile is a born and raised Alabama painter. Originally from Selma, he began his artistic training learning from his grandmother, an avid portrait painter. After graduating Troy University in 2014, he moved to New Orleans where he began his art career. Soon after, in 2015, he had his first solo show at Julia Street’s Steve Martin Gallery. And in 2018, he was granted a full museum show at the International Art Center at Troy University, the first alumni to be given such an honor.
Madison moved his career to Birmingham in 2022 where he established an art studio at Forstall Art Center, where he also teaches weekly painting classes.
In 2025, he and other members of the Birmingham art community, found the Birmingham Art Alliance, an organization that serves local and regional artists and markers.
Though Madison continues to reside in Birmingham, he is represented by numerous galleries across the South where he displays a varied body of work ranging from representational imagery to non-objective abstraction.
